Club owners should be embarrassed with themselves. They have to use false advertisement to get people to come to their venue, and not only that but they have a happy hour on college nights, ages 18 & up....What a sham...First of all, majority of the people in the club wouldn't be able to partake in the happy hour, and the folks that can... are forced to mingle with young-bucks (let me see your wristband!!)
According to their promotions (text messages brought to you by 313131), they have happy hour/open bar from 9-11p.m. on Thursday's......that's a joke.....
From what I've experienced they hold the line until 10:30 p.m. so everyone is forced to bum-rush the bar for their ONE free drink......
When I asked management about the hold-up she said "We're waiting for the DJ to switch over, then we'll open the doors, and besides we NEVER open at 9 p.m. or extend the happy hour beyond 11 p.m. "
We didn't come for the DJ we came for free drinks.....and any reputable business should honor their two hour happy hour promotion, especially when they open the doors a hour and a half late.....So MDV .....1223 is not place to go.....unless you don't mind waiting in line for an hour and fighting your way to the bar to quench your thirst!!!!!
