If you read my first post about women posing nude, then you already know where I'm going with this. Taraji was the LAST person I'd think would pose nude, especially since her career is going so well. I was devastated when I saw this picture. On second thought, she did have a few half naked poses in her first movie "Baby Boy" but that was different. Its a movie...

Anyway, I don't like it...and I don't understand why more and more women are doing it.

10 Hidden Tricks for YouTube You should know about

YouTube became part of my life - I go there to watch all kinds of videos and I embedded some videos on my blog and websites. Instead of just watching and sending the YouTube links to others, you should know the following tricks:

1. High quality videos

YouTube gives you the option to switch to high quality videos for some videos, however you can check if a video is available in high quality format by appending at the end of the web address (URL) ‘&fmt=18‘ (stereo, 480 x 270 resolution) or ‘&fmt=22‘ (stereo, 1280 x 720 resolution)

2. Embed Higher Quality Videos

If you want to embed high quality videos you need to append ‘&ap=%2526fmt%3D18‘ or ‘&ap=%2526fmt%3D22‘ for 480 x 270 resolution and 1280 x 720 resolution respectively.

3. Cut the chase and link to the interesting part

Linking to a video where the real action starts at 2 minutes and 31 seconds, wonder if you can do that? Of course, you can! All you have to do is add #t=02m31s (#t=XXmYYs for XX mins and YY seconds) to the end of the URL.

4. Hide the search box

The search box appears when you hover over an embedded video. To hide the search box add ‘&showsearch=0‘ to the end of the URL.

5. Embed only a part of Video

Same concept as #3, if you want to start the video that skips the first 30 seconds, simply append ‘&start=30′ to skip first 30s of the video. You can skip the first 90 seconds if you want by ‘&start=90‘.

6. Autoplay an embedded video

Normally when you embed a Youtube video and load the page, the player is loaded and it is waiting for you to hit the play button. You can make the video play automatically by adding ‘&autoplay=1′ to the URL part of the embed code.

7. Loop an embedded video

Append ‘&loop=1‘ to make the video start again without user intervention after it reaches the end.

8. Disable Related Videos

When the video finishes, it always display the related videos and have you wonder how to remove it? Just add ‘&rel=0‘ to the end of the URL part of the embed code and you just turned off the related video suggestions! Cool huh?!

9. Bypass Youtube Regional Filtering (Note: may not work in a few regions)

Some videos are only available in certain parts of the world. Your IP Address is used to determine your location and then allow or deny access to the video. Change the url from http://www.youtube.com/watch?v= to http://www.youtube.com/v/

10. Download Video

There are tons of websites that helps you download the YouTube videos so you can permanently own it. My favourite one is KeepHD ( http://www.keephd.com/ ). Also, if you are using Firefox, you can use addons - I tend to like the DownloadHelper.

Or if you do not want to use Firefox’s add-ons and third party websites, you can use the Real player’s “Web Download and Recording”. When you hover over the video, a tab will show you “Download this Video” and it downloads it in flv format and put it into the My Library folder.

Kelis Is Blowing Up!

Spotted sun bathing on the beach, Kelis sports a two piece bikini to show off her growing baby bump. I'm sure she's ready to drop that load and cash in on her alimony and child support checks. For someone that's going through a messy divorce, Kelis sure looks happy.
Sources say Nas hasn't been the most cooperative in their divorce arrangements. He is refusing to pay Kelis any funds toward alimony and has requested that she pay her own legal fees. gesshhhh....doesn't look like Nas is going down without a fight!!!

Keyshia Cole's Concert Looks Whack!!

The video speaks for itself. You could never get me to pay more than $10 for a Keyshia Cole concert. I don't care if she put on a ball room gown and swung from the ceiling with her dress tail....I'm not doing it.

Many blogs say that Ms. Cole has stepped up her game, but I don't see it. I agree that she looks fabulous, but her wardrobe and set design looked as if she were rehearsing, not performing in front of paid viewers. Her vocals were decent, but I'd rather listen to the CD. Her stage presence was sorely lacking and she could use a few more hip-hop dance lessons before dancing in public ever again. I don't know what else to say other than.....BOOOOOO!!!

I expected so much more from Keyshia!!

Monica Steals the Show

I get the feeling that Monica is trying to upstage Keyshia Cole. I noticed it in their music video "Trust." Monica is shown in the foreground during most of the video and Keyshia is in the back....hince the recent photos they've taken.

I have to admit it's nice to see the Divas of ATL supporting eachother. But where does one draw the line?

Since they are in the same industry and genre of music, I'm sure there's a since of competition. While Monica is slowly climbing her way back into the spot light, is Keyshia the latter to help her get there?

Paris Caught Slippin!!

Things got a little hot & heavy between Paris Hilton and her 'friend' the other night....

You would think these two where in a private room rather than a club full of haterz. Thanks to the camera guy for capturing Paris getting freaky, but more importantly the haterz in the background. There's nothing like a hater to catch you slippin. Too bad Paris had too much to drink to notice.

Blame it on the Goose!!! I feel bad for Paris....I mean everyone's had a drunk in public moment or a I can't believe I did that in the club moment......right? She looks THIRSTY, and I'm not talking about needing a beverage.

I sure hope Paris got what she need!!!!

Need a Lift?

Natacha Amal did before hitting the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival in Paris.

Unfortunately the young actress didn't feel the booty-breeze before cameras captured a shot of her unmentionables. Preparing to whoa viewers with her arresting red arrangement, Natacha gave the crowd a little more than she planned.

A helping hand from a good friend saved her from grave embarrassment, but if shots of her lace thong circulating the Internet wasn't enough, being voted the worst dressed celebrity at the event, will do it.

I don't think there's anything Natacha can do at this point, but be thankful that she as least wearing underwear.

Whispers of Amber Rose cheating on Yeezy with Philly's finest short guy "Cassidy" has ended the Kamber duo. Amber has posted comments on Twitter rebuking the rumors, but she has yet to confirm that she and Yeezy are still an item.

I would hate to see my favorite fab couple split, but Cassidy isn't a bad rebound....do you Amber!!

Who knew Master P's little protege would grow to be such a handsome young man? The young rapper/basketball star is working on a new album that is expected to drop this summer. I'm curious to see how his music will reflect the young man he's grown to be.





Now couldn't be a better time to release a new album since Chris Brown can't keep his hands to himself....Omarion can't stop eating....and Bow Wow is slowly fading.

Competition is none....so Lil Romeo might be what the young ladies need!!

Causality!

Here's a little morning fun to get your day started. An interesting game called "Causality" is the perfect distraction from tedious work tasks. It doesn't require answering any questions...just knowing where and when to click your mouse.

Sounds easy, but there are 4 levels to this complex game and you have to use your intelligence to win! I have only made it past level one with 8 attempts and still can't figure out how to dust off the last man standing/sitting.

Keyshia Cole's mother, Frankie Lon, is off the hook....and not in a good way. Every photo I see of Frankie I find myself shaking my head in utter disgust. If your mother were to act out in public like this, how would you feel?

I have been avoiding this for awhile but my inner self can't keep quite any longer.

Is it me, or is Jay-Z going through a mid-life crisis? From the hair, his attire and posture, do his actions reflect that of a 40-year old man? NO!

He's too old to act like this, and the picture says it all. Whatever the case may be, Jay needs to get it together.

Atlanta's broke house-wife Shereé Whitfield has finally got her act together and her funds in check. She recently launched her clothing line "She by Shereé" and held a fashion premiere that unlike the first attempt, was a hit. Many celebs and ex-house-wives where there to support Shereé. Definitely an improvement from the last fashion items she showcased. Looks like Shereé may be onto something.

Holds the #1 spot on the charts for her new album "Epiphany" but I have yet to hear one song from the album.


She recently celebrated her success and album release with an extravaganza that featured many of my favorite artist: T.I., Estelle, Genuine, and Anthony Hamilton to name a few.

Anyway, I had to do my research, to find out why she made the number one spot, and found her video for "Epiphany."

The song is nice, but it sounds like something I've heard before. I need to hear more before making an assessment so I guess I'll have to go buy the album!

This is absolutely HILARIOUS! Nike released a MVP commercial featuring Kobe and Lebron-lookin puppets, mimicking Lebrons pregame "chalk" ritual. This video is a must see!!!

Anjulie "Boom"

I was perusing Kayne's blog and came across this video.

The new Alternative/Pop/Indie artist, Anjulie, hales from Toronto.

I've never heard of her, but I like her song "Boom." It kinda reminds me "Mushaboom" by Feist, but with a MIA/Nelly Furtado twist.

The video is creative and well shot. I like her style and look forward to hearing more from her, as her album is expected to drop sometime this year on HEAR Music (The Voice of Music at Starbucks).

Keep an ear out for Anjulie...she's got skillz!!

Remember the Clipse?

Well they're still around and cookin-up something new for the streets. I was wondering where they were hiding....haven't seen Malice or Pusha T since their last album in 2006.

Out of nowhere, the two made a surprise appearance at N.Y.'s Webster Hall last night. Performing what will be their new single "Kinda Like a Big Deal" the Clipse ripped the stage.

Silly doesn't begin to describe the actions of R&B singer Chris Brown, but thats what Rihanna calls it in her new song, "Silly Boy." Its obvious the song is about Rihanna's ex-love, as the lyrics read:

Saaphyri Goes to Jail

And wants to hear from her fans!!!

The "Flavor of Love" vixen and "Charm School" winner didn't charm the hearts of judges during trial and was sentenced to three years in jail for stealing her uncles identity in 2004.

It took awhile for authorities to catch up with Ms. Saaphyri. While on the set of both reality shows, she had a bench warrant waiting for her when she returned home. The above image is her mugshot from prison. If you can't recognize the face, perhaps this will refresh your memory.
Its amazing what weave and a little Mac makeup can do!!
